Food Chain Limited successfully manages a number of internationally renowned franchise restaurants in the Maltese market, drawing on its long years of experience in the sector and its knowledge of evolving market trends and consumer preferences.

Food Chain Ltd operates 17 stores in total across Malta for Burger King, Pizza Hut and KFC. A vacancy arose with Pizza Hut for the post of Restaurant Manager. Main tasks and responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Controls all costs of sales, labor and semi-variables on a daily, weekly and period basis.</li>
<li>Identifies deviations from desired results and takes immediate corrective action.</li>
<li>Submits accurate reports on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Complies with cash/inventory control procedures.</li>
<li>Maintains positive labor relations</li>
<li>Recruits, interviews and select the right employees for the company.</li>
<li>Conduct induction training.</li>
<li>Develops and coaches' personnel for career development.</li>
<li>Monitor employees' performance.</li>
<li>Ensure floor management techniques are applied.</li>
<li>Provides regular feedback to employees.</li>
<li>Conducts performance reviews on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Maintains positive customer relations by ensuring prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines and creating an environment of customer awareness by crew.</li>
<li>Ensure quality products in line with Pizza Hut international specifications and Standards of Operations and by maintaining adequate inventory levels.</li>
<li>Maintains physical plant.</li>

Educational and skill requirements
<ul>
<li>A minimum of a Higher Diploma in Management or a related field.</li>
<li>At least 2 years of local experience managing a catering establishment, preferably in a fast-food environment; proven experience in inventory management, cost control, managing P&amp;L statements and achieving financial targets, dealing with local suppliers, as well as recruiting, interviewing, and selecting staff.</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams in a high-paced environment.</li>
<li>Customer-focused mindset: Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service and handling complaints effectively.</li>
<li>Familiarity with HACCP standards and local health department regulations.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours: Including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by restaurant operations.</li>
<li>A valid driving license and access to own vehicle.</li>
<li>Fluency in English (spoken and written)</li>
